How to Use the WCR AirSet Online Calendar

WCR has a total of FOUR AirSet online calendars; one for each boat and a main calendar that will show all three boats’ rows plus additional events, races, meetings, etc.

How to register for AirSet Calendars:
You will receive an email for each calendar inviting you to join the group. This means you have been added to our three boat calendars and main WCR calendar. Follow the link in the email to register.

If you have no interest in ever using the calendars just ignore the emails.

If you want to join but haven’t received an email let us know.

What you should see after you register:
When you look at your AirSet calendars you should see a calendar for each boat and one main Whaling City Rowing calendar. (You will also see a personal calendar and an All Groups calendar that Airset creates for you automatically. You don’t ever have to use these if you don’t want to.)

To schedule a row:
Click on the tab for the boat you want to schedule and check to see if the time is available. To add your row to the calendar hover your mouse over the date until you see the new event button appear. Please DO NOT put a row onto the main WCR calendar - this is reserved for events that use all three boats.

The rows scheduled on each boat calendar should automatically share to the main Whaling City Rowing calendar, which will allow us to see the whole schedule at a glance.

Which boat to schedule:
Use the Herman Melville to schedule rows out of the Community Boating Center (CBC), and the Flying Fish and Skylark if you're rowing out of Pope's Island Marina.

How to change the reminders and notifications:
If you DO NOT want to receive the daily email which tells you about every row on the calendars go into the preferences and uncheck the "daily email" option.

If you DO NOT want to receive reminders of rows you are listed as a participant in then uncheck the option for "reminders".

You will have to do this FOR EACH calendar.
