Annual Youth Whaleboat Challenge

Pope’s Island Marina is located at 102 Pope's Island, New Bedford, MA next to the New Bedford/Fairhaven Bridge. For Map and text directions, click here.
Details: For youth ages 14-18. A light-hearted and fun day rowing whaleboats, “harpooning” contests, mini races, etc. Each team needs five rowers and one (adult) boatsteerer. No experience necessary. Boys, girls, co-ed teams are welcome!
Lunch provided. A $50 fee per crew includes all training and supervised practices.
