Directions to the whaleboats:
The whaleboats are docked at Pope's Island Marina, New Bedford MA.

From the West: Take Route 6 east across the Fairhaven/NB bridge. Pope's Island Marina is on your right immediately after the bridge.

From the East: Take Route 6 west through Fairhaven. Pope's Island Marina is on your left just before the Fairhaven/NB bridge.

Bridge Closings: The bridge closes (to cars) on the hour in the morning. At 11am it switches to one quarter after the hour. After 6pm is anybody's guess. Traffic is stopped for about 15 minutes each time the bridge closes.
