Youth Rowing Programs
Whaling City Rowing is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that provides diverse educational rowing programs for youth of all ages. WCR Youth Rowing Programs focus on whaleboat rowing, the marine environment and the region’s maritime heritage.
Our instructors are skilled rowers themselves and are very knowledgeable about our marine environment, local history and boating safety. Most of all, our instructors truly enjoy working with young people. Participants in WCR Youth Program activities will learn new
skills, especially rowing and have a lot of fun in the process.
