For the 8th Annual Whaleboat Race, here's my list of thanks...

To the crews.  Amazing job!  You should all be proud.
To the Captains.  For the time you put into your students.
To the Parents.  For cheering on your son or daughter, and for the leg work getting them to the marina every week for practice.
To the Volunteers.  Who have worked since February to make this event possible once again.
To the folks at Popes Island Marina.  Who go out of their way to help us put on this event.

I hope to see you all this summer for our Summer program and hope you all row with your teams for the Independence Day Whaleboat Race to be held July 3, 2010 in New Bedford Harbor.

Looking forward to next years race!
